Cesca Janece Waterfield is an educator, writer, and dedicated archivist focused on making history an accessible, democratic practice. With advanced degrees in Writing and English and five years of experience teaching college-level writing, Cesca specializes in translating complex research methods into clear, actionable guidance for everyone from students to activists.

Cesca's authority in the field is built on practical success, having created a Vietnam Aviators oral history project, which is now preserved in the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Novosel, Alabama. She has  presented her work at the Gulf South History and Humanities Conference in Mobile, Alabama, and has been invited to speak at the Oral History Association regarding civic publishing projects that integrate oral history methodologies.
